This Privacy Policy explains how ASHAEDGE SOFTWARES PVT LTD (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects your information when you use the Digiinfocard mobile application and related services (the “App”). Digiinfocard is a digital visiting card platform that lets individuals and organisations create, share, and manage digital business cards, including through QR-code-based profile access.
By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to the practices described in this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
1. Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of information:
a. Information you provide directly
- Personal identifiers: name, email address, phone number.
- Profile details: job title, company/organisation name, profile photo, address, social media links, website, and other information you choose to add to your digital card.
- Organisation and employee information: company details and employee profiles, where you use the App in a business or organisational capacity.
b. Information collected automatically
- Usage data: features accessed, actions taken, cards created/shared, and in-app activity.
- Analytics data: aggregated statistics on how the App is used.
- Device information: device model, operating system version, unique device identifiers, app version, and general technical/log data.
c. Information from QR-based access
When a card is shared or scanned via QR code, the profile information you have chosen to make visible is displayed to the person scanning it, according to your visibility settings.
We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal data (such as financial account numbers, health, or biometric data) through the App.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the App and its core features (creating, storing, and sharing digital cards).
- Enable QR-based profile access and manage profile visibility per your settings.
- Manage user accounts and authenticate access.
- Improve, troubleshoot, and develop new features and services.
- Communicate with you about your account, updates, security alerts, and support requests.
- Send service-related or, where you have consented, promotional communications (you may opt out at any time).
- Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, or technical issues.
- Comply with legal obligations.

Where applicable law (such as the EU/UK GDPR or India’s DPDP Act) requires it, we process personal data on the following bases:

Providing the App and services you signed up for.

4. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only as follows:

5. Data Retention
We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the App, and thereafter for up to 90 days or as required to comply with legal, tax, or regulatory obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.
6. Your Rights and Choices
You can, at any time:
- Access and review the personal data in your profile.
- Update or correct your information directly in the App.
- Control the visibility of your profile and QR-shared data.
- Delete specific information or request deletion of your entire account and associated data.
Account & Data Deletion
To delete your account and personal data, use the in-app deletion option (Settings > Account > Delete Account) or email us at info@ashaedgesoftwares.com.
We will process verified deletion requests within 30 days, subject to legal retention requirements.
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may also have rights to data portability, to object to or restrict processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, contact us at info@ashaedgesoftwares.com.
7. Data Security
We implement reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including authentication, access controls, and encryption in transit. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Children’s Privacy
The App is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or 16, depending on your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
9. International Data Transfers
Your information may be stored and processed in India or other countries where our service providers operate. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.
10. Third-Party Links and Services
Your digital card may contain links to third-party websites or services. This Policy does not cover their practices; we encourage you to review their privacy policies.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version in the App with a revised “Last Updated” date and, where appropriate, notify you. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance.
