Data Deletion Policy
1. Scope
This Data Deletion Policy describes how users can request the deletion of their accounts and associated personal information from the DigiInfoCard platform. This policy applies to all individual users, corporate members, and administrators.
2. How to Request Deletion
You can initiate a request to delete your account and personal data in one of two ways:
In-App Option
Go to Settings > Account Management > Click "Request Account Deletion" and follow the verification prompts.
Email Option
Send an email from your registered address to deletion@digiinfocard.com with the subject line "Account Deletion Request".
3. Types of Data & Deletion Method

| Contacts & scanned data | Contact lists, OCR scan logs, and notes linked to your account are permanently erased. |
| Analytics logs | Card view numbers and click stats are anonymized (disassociated from your account). |
4. Retention Exceptions
We may retain certain records post-deletion for specific legal or operational requirements:
- Backups: Copies in system backups may persist for up to 30 days. These are encrypted and inaccessible.
- Financial records: Invoices, transaction records via Razorpay, and subscription history are kept for 7 years for tax purposes.
- Legal disputes: Relevant evidence may be locked if there is an active legal hold.
5. Verification & Timelines
- We will verify your identity before processing deletion (usually via registered email OTP confirmation).
- Deletion requests are typically processed within 30 days of verification.
- For corporate users, if your company provisions your account, the admin must approve or request the deletion. Contact your company admin.
